What You’ll Learn:

• Shape a fascinator base using a traditional hat block
• Manipulate sinamay straw and work with veiling
• Wire and edge your hat for a professional finish
• Explore traditional millinery techniques, including pleating, bias strips, steaming, and stitching

The Experience:
Join me in the warm and welcoming atmosphere of my Dromore Studio, where we’ll begin with an introduction to hat-making. We’ll explore a variety of hat styles, trimmings, and materials to inspire your design.

Next, we’ll dive into the hands-on process:

• Crafting your hat base using a hat block
• Wiring and trimming the edges for structure
• Adding your personal touch with trims and decorative details

By the end of this 3-hour session, you’ll leave with a beautifully finished fascinator, ready to wear or gift, and the confidence to continue your millinery journey.
